Pope Pretends Piousness Ploy, Peddles Pro Pedophilic Priests Position, Preventing Prosecutions...Positively Providing Proof, Pontiff Pitifully Pathetic, Petty Person...Pity

Partial Post per http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/mar/28/pope-benedict-sexual-abuse-scandal

Pope Benedict, facing the worst crisis of his papacy as a sexual abuse scandal sweeps the Catholic church, declared today he would not be "intimidated" by "petty gossip", angering activists who say he has done too little to stamp out paedophilia.
Addressing crowds in St Peter's square during a Palm Sunday service, the pope did not directly mention the scandal spreading though Europe and engulfing the Vatican, but alluded to it during his sermon. Faith in God, he said, led "towards the courage of not allowing oneself to be intimidated by the petty gossip of dominant opinion".
As Benedict spoke, the president of Switzerland, Doris Leuthard, called for a central register of paedophile priests to keep them away from children. In Austria, the archbishop of Vienna announced the creation of a commission funded by the church, but without church representatives, to look into Austrian abuse claims.
Benedict came under attack after it was revealed that he had been involved in dealing with two cases of abuse. In the first a German priest in therapy for paedophilia returned to work with children while the pope was archbishop of Munich. In the second, in the late 1990s when Benedict was a senior Vatican figure, his deputy stopped a church trial against a Wisconsin priest accused of abusing deaf boys.
Church officials say Benedict was unaware the German priest had returned to work and the Wisconsin case was reported to the Vatican 20 years after the fact.
The Vatican daily, L'Osservatore Romano, has accused the media of a "clear and ignoble intent of trying to strike Benedict and his closest collaborators".
But activists said they were angered by Benedict's talk of intimidation today. "I hope this doesn't fit into a pattern where the media is to be blamed," said Sean O'Conaill of Voice of the Faithful, a group, which has campaigned for abuse victims. "The real courage needed here is to face issues the media has revealed."
These scumbags are still trying to deny the facts, they are continuing to protect these Pedophile worms and continue to play their shell game of "Find The Pedophile Priests"...when will they stop? This is in plain sight for all to see...they do not fear the same God they want us to fear...this is because they know the truth, that there is no God to fear and they have been misleading us and milking us for thousands of years. Religious delusion is the cover that they use to keep their congregations in line, but it is time to hold them accountable by boycotting the Churches and their activities until they take action to protect the most vulnerable among us...their victims...our children.

Pedophile Priests pretending pure piety....priviledged prim proper pricks

The Great Catholic Cover-Up

The pope's entire career has the stench of evil about it.

By Christopher Hitchens

Posted Monday, March 15, 2010, at 10:20 AM ET

Pope Benedict XVI On March 10, the chief exorcist of the Vatican, the Rev. Gabriele Amorth (who has held this demanding post for 25 years), was quoted as saying that "the Devil is at work inside the Vatican," and that "when one speaks of 'the smoke of Satan' in the holy rooms, it is all true—including these latest stories of violence and pedophilia." This can perhaps be taken as confirmation that something horrible has indeed been going on in the holy precincts, though most inquiries show it to have a perfectly good material explanation.

Concerning the most recent revelations about the steady complicity of the Vatican in the ongoing—indeed endless—scandal of child rape, a few days later a spokesman for the Holy See made a concession in the guise of a denial. It was clear, said the Rev. Federico Lombardi, that an attempt was being made "to find elements to involve the Holy Father personally in issues of abuse." He stupidly went on to say that "those efforts have failed."
He was wrong twice. In the first place, nobody has had to strive to find such evidence: It has surfaced, as it was bound to do. In the second place, this extension of the awful scandal to the topmost level of the Roman Catholic Church is a process that has only just begun. Yet it became in a sense inevitable when the College of Cardinals elected, as the vicar of Christ on Earth, the man chiefly responsible for the original cover-up. (One of the sanctified voters in that "election" was Cardinal Bernard Law of Boston, a man who had already found the jurisdiction of Massachusetts a bit too warm for his liking.)

We have all seen the stories of Pedophile Priests and the damage they have caused and continue to cause. This is an issue that goes back as far as the Early Churches and their rules and attempts to curb the appetites of they clergy and indeed their congregations. There is no surprise that we see time and time again the scandals unfold where the church is the center of rape, sodomy and worse, as they continue to play their shell games of "Find the Pedophile Priest." It is a game that has gone on for their enjoyment since the inception of the Christian Church as early laws were made to stem it's popularity. I honestly think that any God would be angry at this and any Church that fears their Gods  would not encourage it by harboring these sick people. This by itself leads me to believe that the Church is saying to us that they know... by their actions...that there are no Gods to fear and religion is just a hoax.

Iraq War 900 Billion vs Health Care 940 Billion

Iraq War Facts, Results & Statistics at February 16, 2010

4,379 US Soldiers Killed, 31,669 Seriously Wounded

By Deborah White, About.com Guide

http://usliberals.about.com/od/homelandsecurit1/a/IraqNumbers.htm

" Mar 7 2010
For your quick reading, I've listed key statistics about the Iraq War, taken primarily from data analyzed by various think tanks, including The Brookings Institution's Iraq Index, and from mainstream media sources. Data is presented as of February 16, 2010, except as indicated.

U.S. SPENDING IN IRAQ

Spent & Approved War-Spending - About $900 billion of US taxpayers' funds spent or approved for spending through Sept 2010.

U.S. 2009 Monthly Spending in Iraq - $7.3 billion as of Oct 2009

U.S. 2008 Monthly Spending in Iraq - $12 billion
U.S. Spending per Second - $5,000 in 2008 (per Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on May 5, 2008)

Cost of deploying one U.S. soldier for one year in Iraq - $390,000 (Congressional Research Service)

Lost & Unaccounted for in Iraq - $9 billion of US taxpayers' money and $549.7 milion in spare parts shipped in 2004 to US contractors. Also, per ABC News, 190,000 guns, including 110,000 AK-47 rifles.

Missing - $1 billion in tractor trailers, tank recovery vehicles, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and other equipment and services provided to the Iraqi security forces. (Per CBS News on Dec 6, 2007.)

Mismanaged & Wasted in Iraq - $10 billion, per Feb 2007 Congressional hearings

Halliburton Overcharges Classified by the Pentagon as Unreasonable and Unsupported - $1.4 billion

Amount paid to KBR, a former Halliburton division, to supply U.S. military in Iraq with food, fuel, housing and other items - $20 billion

Portion of the $20 billion paid to KBR that Pentagon auditors deem "questionable or supportable" - $3.2 billion. "

Ok, lets cut the bullshit...these idiots prefer to spend 900 Billion dollars on this Republickers'-loved,  Repuglickers'-cooked-up Iraq war in an eight year period, but they scream about a Health Care bill that will spend less money over the same time and save hundreds of thousands of people?  The numbers speak for themselves...900 billion in eight years of war means an average of 112 Billion per year and counting indefinitely, compared with 940 billion over ten years, or an average of 94 Billion per year. So in my view these Repuglickers are not against this because of the cost...or they would be screaming for us to stop the war. If there are 45000 poor people dying each year for lack of health care, then it must mean they want these people to die for some reason....maybe they do not like or care for poor people and their votes.  If we have a terrorist attack and lose 3000 people every year, it still does not compare or validate letting 45000 poor people die....unless you are a Rich Republican piece of shit....They...the Republican following, the Republican sheep did not care for how much money disappeared or was wasted by the Republican Administration they supported and still supports but they expect us to be fooled by their concern for Health costs...They would have been as vocal against the war and the waste as they are now...if they cared...

Do Rich Republicans love America?

This question came up in the comments of my last post and I had a rather long reply...one that I think reflects many things that everyone should consider, so I decided to post my reply...and a little more...

Yes they do love this country, just as every pimp loves their whores, just as every husband likes the wife, after she checks out of the Hospital and does not decide to report him for busting up her face...again, or for aborting the baby when he kicked her in the stomach.... of course they love America, because they have the power to do what they like, even though that means the country takes the hit.... they love that power. Bush's Presidency was a testament to this, I still maintain that he was the most successful Republican President in recent Presidencies... echoing the wishes of his party and his supporters...we have to look at the results of his tenure to see what Republican success means to them... unnecessary war, recession, foreclosures, the threat of a depression, the loss of schools, Fire and Police services because of budget shortages, the loss of more jobs than anyone of us have seen in one lifetime, yes they love America...for the evil things they have the freedom to do.

The Rich do not pay taxes, by hiding their fortunes offshore and in secret foreign bank accounts...who wouldn't love that? Many of us won't if we see that it will be done at the expense of the country, but they do it anyhow. Most don't serve in the military nor do they allow their kids to do so, that is something that suggests they love the freedoms that this country affords them...so yes they do love this country...just like Bernie Maddoff loved his friends and family members who invested in his funds. They have used obstruction and the Filibuster to prevent the country from making the gains that will help us to progress as a country and by extension, to help the world...as we account for approximately 25% of the world's GDP.

They love the fact that they were able to restrict regulation of Financial Markets, so much so that they reaped untold and unimaginable fortunes and were further able to force the taxpayers to pay for a bailout when their schemes collapsed and we went into recession...they knew that they were too big to fail...they learned that through the Savings and Loans debacle...something John McCain learned then and  knows as well... they loved the bailouts so much that they now bask in wonderfully large bonuses.... while they still continue to do the same stuff that caused the financial meltdown in the first place...

Of course they love this country....and soon they will try to get elected so they can start all over again. One may well  ask, How  can I presume that all the bad guys are Republicans, surely some are Independents and some are Democrats... the answer to that is simple... if you beat your wife you are a wife-beater, if you steal, you are a thief, and if you walk like a duck and quack like a duck, then my friend, no matter what you call yourself in public.... whether you say you are a Democrat or an Independent, you really are just one of them...A FUCKING DUCK!!!  What about the poor Republicans...do they love America also? Yes they do, but not more than they love to hate Gay people, Democrats and Immigrants.

GOP Obstructionism is the plan by Rich Republicans

Quotes from WashingonIndependent.Com
Sen. Jim Bunning’s (R-Ky.) recent one-man stand against legislation extending unemployment benefits offered a high-profile airing of a popular GOP message: Deficit spending, in almost any form, will cause more harm than good to a fragile economy.

Standing in the way of the Republicans’ reasoning, however, has been another formidable group: budget experts. Most are urging additional, though temporary, deficit spending as the surest way to tackle the jobs crisis and prevent the economy from slipping back into recession. It hasn’t helped the GOP’s argument that a good number of them are fiscal conservatives.

Few observers, for example, would accuse David M. Walker of being a liberal spendthrift. Indeed, the former U.S. comptroller general has spent most of the last decade forging a personal crusade against deficit spending. Yet last week — on the same day that Bunning, a Hall of Fame baseball pitcher known more for his curveball than his economic insights, initiated his drive against fiscal imprudence — Walker wrote in Politico that “a focus on jobs now is consistent with addressing our deficit problems ahead.”

“A huge recession can yield a huge deficit,” Walker, now head of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, which advocates for balanced budgets, wrote in an op-ed co-authored by Lawrence Mishel, president of the liberal Economic Policy Institute. “Though a concern, most of the recent short-term rise in the deficit is understandable. Furthermore, public spending can help compensate for the fall in private spending, and help stem the pain of substantial job losses.”

Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody’s Economy.com, agrees. Zandi, an adviser to Sen. John McCain during the Arizona Republican’s 2008 run at the White House, has urged lawmakers in recent weeks “to be aggressive” in tackling the continuing jobs crisis, which has left nearly a fifth of the nation’s working population without a job or underemployed.
“If we have another recession, we will have no policy response,” Zandi told a House panel last week. “We have to err on the side of doing too much.”

The message from the experts is clear: If you think adding $10 billion to the deficit is dangerous to future economic growth, wait ‘til you see what happens when millions of unemployed folks, denied access to a government safety net, slash their consumption (at best) and foreclose on their homes (at worst).
http://washingtonindependent.com/78288/gops-deficit-crusade-faces-opposition-from-fiscal-hawks

The only reason these Obstructionist Republicans are against Deficit spending is because they are Rich and can last out this recession during a slow recovery. That is not considering the fact that if they go back into control of Government they will do the same mindless thing all over again and destroy the economy. They are like a one trick pony, have Tax Cuts for themselves and their Rich friends while the people they treat as dirt, which is the American People suffer.  Have undisciplined Capitalism and while the Rich reap the rewards the poor suffers by their hand.
They show a total lack of compassion for the country they claim to love and they destroy bits and pieces of it everytime they are in office. We need to see them by their actions not listen to their myriad of lies. The only reason that everything that President Obama has tried has not had the results he wants is because of Republican Obstructionism and even with their mindless fighting the economy is still showing signs of recovery. Think of how much faster it would recover if the Republicans were intelligent enough to help instead of holding the process back with their Obsrtructionist tactics of screaming at everything the President does.
Now they are training armies of insurgent terrorists to form a terrorist resistance. It has already reached possibly epidemic levels of psychosis since Thom Hartmann reported on his radio program that he is not able to buy more than two boxes of ammo to go target practice as everyone is hoarding ammunition, causing the gun shops to regulate sales.

Shareholders Rights?? WTF...Screw You.

Quotes from Huffington Post...

Goldman Sachs Board Rejects Shareholders Demands To Cut Excessive Pay, Bonuses
NEW YORK — Goldman Sachs Group Inc. said Monday it has rejected demands by shareholders to investigate the Wall Street bank's compensation practices.
Shareholder lawsuits filed recently in New York and Delaware charge that Goldman's compensation levels in 2009 were too high, Goldman said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. The lawsuits seek to recover some of the pay and force the bank to adopt pay reforms. Goldman said shareholders have made similar demands in letters to its board.
Lawmakers and shareholders sharply criticized Wall Street pay after the biggest banks lost billions of dollars on bad mortgage bets, helped cause the recession and then had to be bailed out by the government.
"The board believes that the firm's compensation policies and practices, which directly align pay with the performance of the company, are appropriate and in the best interests of shareholders broadly," Goldman spokesman Ed Canaday said in a statement. "When the firm does well, our people do well and when the firm does less well, our people do less well."
Goldman employees received $16.2 billion in salaries and bonuses for 2009, up 47 percent from the previous year but lower than expected. That's about $500,000 for each of the bank's 31,700 employees. Many employees, however, earned millions.
In other words...Screw you and Fuck off !!!!!
While I don't feel sorry for any Banks' or Bankers' losses suffered in the Bush era recession, I would like the Republican community to realize that there is no compassion given to Americans by Corporations. Goldman's rejection of their Shareholders wishes attest to that. Shareholders were misled and downright fooled into thinking they had rights and control over what they apparently didn't, no surprise there I think. The Republican line has always been to support the Corporations against the American people and any Democratic Government, a practice which has always caused suffering, injustice, loss of jobs, loss of many benefits including Medical and dental benefits and even loss of life. Such is the lack of compassion exhibited by the Republican party and it's minions, who all support the Corporations.

The recent decision by the Supreme Court allowing Corporations to be able to finance elections in various ways is another chapter in the long battle by the Corporations and the Republican party to stifle the will of the American people. It is an insult to intelligence that a Corporation can be afforded the rights of an individual, this being a victory that the Republican Party and it's minions have long trumpeted and supports even now. Had we, the intelligent Dems not been made to suffer the consequences of these laws along with the Corporate lovers, I would be inclined to say nothing and let the Republican Corporate-bought-and-paid-for-zombies suffer the consequences by  themselves, but alas, we are joined at the hip, so maybe we are all screwed.

If you think the Republicans are not the party of NO, and are not the obstructionists who pander to the Corporations while not caring for the American people, just take a look at their  pathetic new star who is really taking the Evil party line to heart and doing exactly what all Republicans really believe is right, while pretending they do not approve, acting as if they do not support him...he is Jim Bunning, their hero.
