Republicans, Guns, Fear Mongering, Gun Target Rhetoric, The Gullible. Now Put Them All Together.

One Crazed Gunman...many shot, many wounded...many Dead...
Sarah Palin's Camp is Frantically Back-peddling...The Huff reports... Shortly after news broke that Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) had been shot at a congressional event in her district, observers began noting that she had, during the campaign,literally been Sarah Palin's target...to which they reply for those who are really gullible...
"We never ever, ever intended it to be gun sights," she said in an interview with talk radio host Tammy Bruce Saturday. "It was simply crosshairs like you'd see on maps." Bruce suggested that they could, in fact, be seen as "surveyor's symbols." Mansour added that "it never occurred to us that anybody would consider it violent" and called any attempts to politicize the Arizona tragedy "repulsive."


Yeah right..."Surveyor's Symbols"....What the Fuck, they are no "Surveyors"....
They say..." It never occurred to us"...who is stupid enough to believe that? That is the only intelligent reason for using that Tactic...
Who can forget Sarah's famous "Commonsense Conservatives & lovers of America: 'Don't Retreat, Instead - RELOAD!' ??


Others who are more cautious in their opinions than I, Howard Fineman in this instance writes...Now comes Tucson. The deaths there are not about politics, ideology or party. From what we know, Jared Loughman's acts were those of a madman divorced from reality, let alone from public debate.


Many who have since commented have come under attacks including Sheriff Clarence Dupnik who said this..."When you look at unbalanced people, how they respond to the vitriol that comes out of certain mouths about tearing down the government," said Dupnik at a press conference Saturday. "The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous. And unfortunately, Arizona I think has become sort of the capital. We have become the mecca for prejudice and bigotry."


These "attacks" and criticisms come from the usual suspects... one even calling for his resignation. Apparently it's business as usual for this group of Haters...but then, we have not seen them do much in the past, to dispel any suspicions of fear-mongering by them...in fact quite the contrary.


I do not expect many surprises from here on out...but time will tell.
My sincerest sympathies to the victims and their families, I am truly sorry that this has happened, but please take Heart, this Universe has many Good things in store for us in this life...and the next...so be strong and you will endure. We did not come to this World with anything...neither will we leave with anything...anything Material that is...Read my Book, you will understand.

2010- Fox's Worst Year Of Shock and Awe on America

The year 2010 has been a Political Roller Coaster ride for America and indeed the Globe. We have many things to be thankful for but we can not say goodbye to the past year without keeping with the Name and Purpose of this Blog... and Book of the same name... and looking back, at the Shock and Awe we faced and leave behind...hopefully.


One cannot help but reflect on the single Entity in the Media Industry that has been the source or outlet for most of the Lies, Deceptions and Fear Mongering that was seen in 2010... Fox News.
Many of us in the Tri-State remembered when Fox and Parent Company News Corp. held us Hostage to their demands for more money to view their programs, by demanding our Cable Carriers pay them more money.


One does not have to look far to find more of their Shenanigans, and this wonderful offering by Media Matters in littered with details.
We have many shameful whoppers given to us by Fox's own,  Glenn Beck.
Another bringer of lies and Deception was none other than Fox's new Poster Child... Sarah Palin.


We cannot forget the Muslim scare Fox tried to spin on us, even though one of their Large Shareholders is a Muslim Prince!
It is no secret that Fox is not "Fair and Balanced" as they say and are squarely set on the Republican Party's scheme of Sabotaging the Country with the hope of getting the GOP back into the White House in 2012.


It was no surprise when a renowned University released their study that clearly showed that the Audience of Fox programming is clearly "Dumbed Down" and have little awareness as to what is Fact from Fiction, largely because of what Half Truths and sometimes blatant lies they are fed by Fox.


With the New Year upon us, is it too much to ask, for Fox to be the Leader of the News industry by Furnishing us with Truthful Reporting and having some Journalistic Pride and indeed... Prejudice of the Highest order in carrying out these duties, by ensuring that they report the Truth without twisting it to suit their warped sense of Reality?

Those Evil Republicans...and some Democrats...

"Who is going to hold these people's feet to the fire?" asks Fox News' Shepherd Smith? He was referring to the Senators who did not vote to give Financial Relief to the many men and women who risked their lives on 911 and went in to save fellow Americans. This is now a National Shame, that the measure was not approved ...





I actually agree with you Mr. Smith...

The same question can be asked about the Dream Act and the failure of the Senate to pass this measure, and once and for all bring an end to the Torture these millions of innocent children are subjected to at the hands of some hateful people who prefer to watch these poor children suffer for no fault of their own, than to end the shameful cry of this being another Amnesty in disguise. I ask, If it is...What would Jesus do?


Mr. Smith must surely be rolling in his bed unable to sleep...as I am sure is Chris Wallace, two of the Fox Commentators who have been showing some hints of rationale and indeed conscience... something I saw briefly in the coverage given by of all people on Fox...Giraldo, during the Katrina Debacle.


Is the Republicans' plan Sabotage?


Another dicey issue getting the cold shoulder is the START Treaty and the shabby way these Senators are trying to derail it. It has been Eight Months since the Treaty has been finished, giving everyone ample time to address it. Are they willing to leave the Country and indeed the World on less stable ground by not Passing the Treaty, simply to make this President Obama's Waterloo? The answer appears to be Yes...


One wonders how far they will go to deny proper Health Care to the American People, as they adamantly proclaim their intention to repeal  the Obama Health Care that was recently passed. It appears these Republicans are not interested in helping or protecting the American people...but rather only wish to take care of their Corporate and Foreign interests...how Shameful.

Apparently these Republicans thought that Child Marriages and the resultant torture and hardships they will endure, are a good thing and should be encouraged, hence the failure of a Bill S. 987 (The International Protecting Girls by Preventing Child Marriage Act), designed to put a stop to this very practice...see them for who they really are... by their Evil Deeds...

CLASS WARFARE, SLAVES TO THE WEALTHY, BY GEORGE CARLIN

Well, everyone has now seen how badly this "Bush Tax Cuts" debate has gone so far...there was no debate. The Republicans said ...massage my shoulder will ya? The Democrats are now the masseur, massaging the Elephant's shoulder, putting lotion on his feet...and kissing where the sun don't shine... cleaning up their shit, adding at least 700 Billion dollars more to the deficit... This shit certainly leaves a bad taste in our mouths. That is some shit...


My head is spinning, I am gravely hurt by the President's speech on Monday December 6th, where he seems to have bowed down to his aggressor who wants the poor in this country to become slaves to the wealthy, to have no dignity and pride in themselves or their families...their Parents...Their Spouses...Their children. I feel like I am in the days of slavery all over again...I feel the pain and anguish they...the Slaves must have felt...stripped of every shred of self worth, pride and indeed Human dignity and decency, as if "We the people" are not worth it, and no one gives a damn.


Certainly I wonder sometimes if our Leaders don't give a damn, because it appears they are not willing to fight for us. We did not elect leaders to go there and surrender for us, If we wanted to surrender, or be defeated,  we would have sent someone who we knew was an idiot or a coward...we didn't. We sent educated people, who we think are capable of getting the job done, who are willing to fight, because when the fighting is done, we would be assured that what we get would have been the best we could get...But right now, the Democrats are not fighting, they are just massaging the Elephant's shoulders, following their orders, and being a Disappointment to the American People...the 85% of us who did not vote in November, for the Republicans.


Maybe I am wrong, or misinformed...maybe there was a fight that took place and "We the People" just did not see it, did not know it, because it was behind closed doors, against very powerful entities, Foreign and Domestic. I have often said the President is privy to more information than I am...so maybe he knows what he is doing more than I know what he is doing. Maybe he saw the light at the end of the tunnel, and I am just slogging through the darkness looking for a helping hand out of poverty. 


 I am anything but speechless, but there is a traffic jam...a bottleneck in my throat, because there are too many words trying to come out at the same time...it's choking me...so I will let the Late and always Great Mr. George Carlin do my talking for me...because I am really hurting by the Democrat's surrender without a fight...Some say The President paid the RANSOM...I agree with that, I understand the hard road...but it still sticks in my craw...


Stephen Colbert says he can't wait for the Taxes to stay the same so he can create all those jobs...Stephen got it right...no one in the Wealthy Country Clubs will be creating jobs...maybe we can give away Social Security while we are at it...I just had to add Stephen's video as well. Let me clarify, I Blame the Republicans for Blackmailing us, I do not blame the President for making the best deal he thinks we can try to get, rather than getting nothing at all... 


I think upon further reflection, I will support the President...my President...because he can do for me what I cannot do for myself...secure a better future for my children. The old people have a saying...Stoop to Conquer... so I will Stoop with my President...so we will get stronger and rise higher later.

Patriotism?...What's That?

Patriotism is a love of and loyalty to one's country. This is something the Corporations are trying to stifle and destroy, by convincing Republicans that they need to be subservient to the Companies and tow the party line. For Decades the Companies via the Republicans have tried to strip the standards and regulations away, that we require them to be subjected to and they are winning. Substandard food products, inhumane and unhealthy working conditions,  environmental pollution, inadequate wages, excessive and greedy practices on Wall St. and attacks on the very fabric of freedom and goodwill that America was built on, is where they have brought us to now. 


It is no secret that the Republican Party has for Decades tried to strengthen the Corporate choke hold on the country, and  break America's backbone in the process. Open your eyes...it's 2010 and they are winning...The Corrupt Corporations are winning...and the Corrupt Republicans are winning...America is losing. The result of the  Republican way of groveling to, begging of and fanatically kissing the Corporate hand, is what we see now...recession... dismay...poverty...and dark uncertainty for the future, with their recent election victories...at the hands of SCOTUS.

To the Corporations, this is just par for the course because they do not belong to America, they are Multinational, they are Global Conglomerates, they are shoppers in a Global Marketplace. They produce their products in foreign countries and pretend that they do not need to adhere to our rules to sell those products here. They are capable of bending those rules or bribing our Politicians and Supreme Court Judges, to help them break those rules. 


Bribery with money? No, bribery with the assurance that if they the Companies get what they want, the Corrupt Politicians and Corrupt Judges will also get theirs in turn. One just has to look to see who in the Supreme Court made the decision that the government may not ban political spending by corporations in candidate elections, to see their intentions and tactics of appeasing the Corporations at the expense of the Country. Patriotism is truly dead...in those circles.

The Companies have savvy accountants who know how to keep the profits offshore in foreign accounts so it is not taxed by any country. What they do not want you to realize is that they do need to be here, they do need to sell their  products here, because America amounts for 25% of the World's GDP, and they thirst for the money generated by us, to buy their products. They are not America...We are!  


If they choose to leave and do no business in this Country, another company willing to pay taxes and follow our regulations and higher standards will replace them, so we should not try to appease them in order to keep their jobs here. We should charge them Tariffs on their Foreign made products, to level the field and cause them to keep the Manufacturing Jobs here, which in turn would mean the profits stay here and are Taxed here. Taxes are an integral part of our being able to run our Society and Pay for our services. So don't do like the Republicans and sell out to the Corporations, fight...fight for America...Patriots.

Is America Dead?

Kumbaya my ass!!  ...I just wanted to start with that. The verdict is in...It is the general feeling that the President is a house negro. You can put your own meaning to that, but it generally means he will do what he is told by his Master, which in this case is Corporate America. The President is now being thought of as being "Republican Light"...sort of like what light beer is to real beer. How is he a "Republican Light" you ask?

 Well he raised more Corporate money than Hillary Clinton in 2007 when running against her. He also hired Larry Summers, the same guy who is thought to have deregulated Wall St during the Clinton years...and the same guy that Dr. Henry Kissinger said should be given a White House position...This is a snippet of what Wikipedia has to say..."As Treasury Secretary, Summers led the Clinton Administration's opposition to tax cuts proposed by the Republican Congress in 1999. Also during his stint in the Clinton Administration, Summers was successful in pushing for capital gains tax cuts. During the California energy crisis of 2000, then-Treasury Secretary Summers teamed with Alan Greenspan and Enron executive Kenneth Lay to lecture California Governor Gray Davis on the causes of the crisis, explaining that the problem was excessive government regulation. Under the advice of Kenneth Lay, Summers urged Davis to relax California's environmental standards in order to reassure the markets." I recently wrote an article titled America died last night...seem's like it is coming to fruition.

In a kitchen you do not use a butter knife to chop your meats and vegetables, in the same way you cannot expect to put a Priest in the White house and expect him to deal with Wall St with an iron fist. You need a man who can play both sides of the aisle, so he can juggle and keep both Wall st. and Main st. functioning. The President said as much when he suggested that if we wise up and realize that he is a Corporatist in disguise, we must rise up and make him do what we need him to do....and he is willing, but he is waiting until we demand as much of him, with our actions.  He can't go against the Corporations without our demands being his reason to do such an act. He is walking a fine line between Wall st and Main st, because he has no choice, and the argument is that if he does not appease his Corporate Financiers a bit, they threaten to pull out and crash the economy. He has to make Wall st work for Main st, by our instruction.

Now I would like to point out that some want Tax cuts for the wealthy Multi Millionaires, the Billionaires and by extension the Corporations,  in order for them to create jobs. Well they are the ones who have been shipping the jobs away, outsourcing jobs while they receive their tax cuts. The Corporations are also accused of encouraging the immigration problem by offering substandard jobs for little pay, while collecting tax breaks to generate these jobs. It is said that the immigrants are taking jobs that American workers want.

To put it simply, The Corporations are causing many of the problems we face today. The tax cuts they are enjoying and lobbying for are not being used to generate jobs, it is being used to reinvest and generate jobs in foreign countries. They are firing the immigrant workers who do get their status legally changed to work, and replacing that now jobless immigrant with another undocumented worker.

Walmart and other companies will bring products from China costing them 5 cents while the same product produced in America costs 50 cents. The way to stop this is for the Customs practices to change so that the imported Chinese products are charged a Tariff of 45 cents to level the cost factor for the Companies. This way the companies will not hesitate to produce the products right here in America. This is also a way for America to generate some extra cash, and may even help to lessen the tax burden on the American people.

What happens when a drug pusher is arrested? There is a vacuum created and like it or not,  the pusher is soon replaced by another ambitious Free Market Capitalist. So...the answer is simple, take away the tax cuts for the rich because they are not using it to create jobs, this will save Billions... then start charging Tariffs on the imported products, which will leveling the playing field and the jobs will come back to America. If the Companies choose to leave, there will be another Ambitious Free Market Capitalist Company waiting to fill that vacuum and produce the same products and jobs here in America...with or without Tax Cuts.

This will in turn solve the Immigration problem, because we will now have 50 to 100 million jobs available as a result...for example, a Car Manufacturer needs dozens of other industries to make parts and supplies to support it. That means thousands of jobs just in that one Product. Think of this happening on a massive, Country-wide scale...This would create the need for both the unemployed Americans and all the immigrants to fill those jobs.

 As a side note, when we produce these millions of jobs, we will also have a greater need for more Teachers, Nurses, Doctors and a whole Technology system, and a much larger Transportation and Logistics system to sustain the growth we will experience, that translates to thousands more skilled jobs and millions more to support those jobs, which will again bring America to the top of the Global Food Chain and use up all of our unemployed. The ripple effect will hit the Agriculture belt like a Hurricane and we will again produce more foods and revitalize our Farming Industry.  The failing infrastructure will then need to be rebuilt, thus adding more jobs.

The Problem started with the Corporations...and we should start there, to bring our country back...back to where the people have a voice and our children have a future. Just in case you think the Corporations are our best friends...watch this video...
