Why Should I vote?

This question goes to the heart of what has happened in the last election in November 2010 and what will happen in the Elections in 2012. The answer is simple...it is not about President Obama, The Democratic Party or What God wants... It is all about you. It is all about what you want and this is the way to get some of it.


Sure you may not like some of the things that have or have not happened since President Obama was Elected, but one thing is sure, it could have been a lot worse if his Opponents had won. Many have differing views why they should or should not vote and the results in the 2010 election brought on by those who did not vote is a stark reality of what happens when people do not vote.


Those who voted for the Republicans in 2010 got what they wanted...and the Draconian cuts coming down the pike is just a small sample of the Republican mindset. Instead of thinking of what the President has Not gotten done, I suggest you look at what he Has done for you...and your Family. 


Remember you voted for Obama not so he will be President, but for what he could do for you...It must always be about you, that is the best way to take care of your family...by voting for what you want for them... for them. If you do not vote in your own best interest, the Republicans will make more gains and make your life a living hell...more than it is now. Your kids will go through more hell...a hell brought on by Bush and the Republican Agenda. It is ok to see where the blame lies, no one will fault you for being intelligent. 


The Republicans are trying to Sabotage the Country and the President any way they can, you have to stop them with your vote. I can guarantee you that President Obama's 2nd term will be better for you and your family because he will not have a future Election to worry about and he will not have to bend over backwards to appease the Right...or his Corporate financiers.

Don't get me wrong - he's nowhere in the ball park of where I had expected (no less hoped) him to be. And the practices of Bush that he's held onto are appalling. I'm appalled, anyways.

But to say that there's no sunlight between him and Bush just seems to me like exactly the kind of resigned helplessness that I'd think that any self-respecting ruling class would want to instill in anyone motivated to change things. And that's why, despite the difficulties involved, I will continue to occupy the political process and attempt, however meagerly, to move things in a progressive direction. Because I just don't see any alternative. Giving up isn't one."

If We Ignore The Radiation...Will It Go Away?

The answer is No! It will not go away...and it is getting worse...really Bad! How Bad? They are right now releasing more than 11,000 Tons of Radioactive water...that's upwards of 3 Million Gallons of Radioactive water...to make way for storage of even more Toxic water. A grave concern is the Advent of Unstable Chlorine38. Normally that is supposed to be Chlorine 35 or 37...38 is a real problem.


Unstable Chlorine 38 is the product of Stable Chlorine 37 absorbing another neutron. This is bad because it means the total shutdown of the Reactor has so far failed and there are still unwanted Chain reactions happening...uncontrolled reactions which could prove to be a real problem...Arjun Makhijani is president of the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research (www.ieer.org). He reports this to  The Asia-Pacific Journal.


It has also been found out that there is a leak from one of the Reactors that is seeping around the Plant and it would be going directly into the sea as well, this is cause for concern because this is uncontrolled and that is always the worst case. It is still better to know what you are dumping into the Ocean, in what quantities and concentration and it is always preferred to be able to have control of the thing.


Paul Gunter, author of "Beyond Nuclear" was a guest on The Thom Hartmann Radio Program today, April 4th 2011, where he made a grave comment. He said we can no longer be "Nationalists" when it comes to concern about America and the Fallout from the Japanese Disaster because when the Radioactive Particles enter the Sea it is absorbed by the Algae, which is in turn eaten by little fish, which are in turn eaten by Larger Fish and other Creatures. In other words it has entered The Biosphere. As Joe said...This is a Big Fucking Deal!!


This is how the Radioactive Particles enter our food chain...The Biosphere... and it eventually ends up on your dinner plate...everywhere the Seafood swims and everywhere it is eaten. So it is now being blown as dust in the wind to different parts of the Globe where it contaminates the Crops we eat and the infected grass is eaten by our livestock, and passed on to us through their meats and milk...and it is being swept by the Ocean currents to many other places where it is eaten by animals and then us...This is really bad...and just the beginning...

Pastor Burns A Koran, These Idiots Don't Learn...

Florida Pastor Terry Jones is an idiot, I am sure many more will agree with this statement than will disagree. This fake Pastor recently burned a copy of the Koran, an act which started a shitload of retaliation. So far a UN compound has been attacked and seven UN employees Killed, other connected retaliations have killed and injured many more. 


Pastor Crazy first threatened to burn a Koran in September but after being wooed and getting his 15 minutes of fame, he decided to postpone his idiotic idea until March 20th, when he carried out the foolish act. There is no question that he has started another chapter in the wars we face around the world. Our Troops will undoubtedly face even more opposition than before because of this act.


It is no secret that the Right Wing Republican/Conservative/Tea Party/ Birther folks are on a rampage and trying to wipe out the Muslim population in America. It seems like the Crusades are happening all over again. John Lennon asked that we Imagine a world without Religion and the Craziness that ensues when one Religious group tries to impose their rules on another. I think the world will be a better and more peaceful place without all these religions...but then again, they will just find something else to hate each other for. Tea Party Popularity Drops

Like the age old story of everything that waxes and wanes...so too the Tea Party has joined the ranks of all that have gone before, that have fallen from Grace. Am I being too Dramatic?...Maybe... The bottom line is that there  is a lot of Buyer's Remorse going on here. The question on everyone's lips is...Why? Why has the party fallen from the good Graces of all who have left...and in this case that is a considerable amount...and increasing.


The answer is as palin...er... plain as Day...One can see Russia from her house...One wasn't a witch...One is Batshit crazy...one sees Headless Corpses...one is intent on Dismantling the Unions and he refuses to hear anything about Collective Bargaining... and that is just the A List...there are many more... All of them are intent on giving Bigger and Bigger breaks to the Super Wealthy Two percent and the Multi Billion Dollar Corporations while the real Tea Party Faithful get swept away in stupid laws that are meant to squeeze the last droplet of Blood from them and leave them in the throws of poverty for Generations to come... keeping them slaves to the system of the Rich getting Richer while the Middle Class is systematically eliminated.


The Tea Party faithful got what they wished for... they won the seats they wanted in the last election and they got the promises made to them. They did not realize those same promises would also make them feel the bitter slice...or should I say stab... of dismay and treachery that they thought would have visited only the "other side"...the Democrats and their faithful.


There are now thousands of ex Tea Partiers being foreclosed on...being let go from Companies who are taking Jobs to foreign Countries, their Social programs, Education programs and everything they depend on to live a decent life are being taken away in Draconian "Cuts" that minutely reduce the Deficit...all because the Republicans are sabotaging everything the President is doing to try to bring us out of this recession. The Frum Forum gives a good account of the falling numbers, and I am sure there is more to come soon...as their Dwindling numbers at the Tea Party Rally on Thursday March 31st in Washington showed.

Radiation...Deaths New Fancy...

The average dosage of Radiation we humans are exposed to each year is about 620 millirems or mrems. This is an average accumulation from ordinary daily sources. Many of us have additional exposure outside of the ordinary, including x-rays of all types, Cat scans, regular Airplane flights or exceptionally long flights of hours or more, in the case of Flight personnel.

I start this article with the above information so you will have an idea of where we are with the catastrophe in Japan and the resulting fallout. This one is of course following my recent article on the Disaster and the possibilities which we can expect to see in the future, from a multitude of possible sources, be it Earthquakes or Terrorism or just plain accidental stupidity...as happened with the Three Mile Island's disaster years ago.
I highlighted the arrival of Radiated particles on the West Coast last week, fully expecting the Radiation to spread to other parts of the US...it is happening right now, in various places around the Country...

"Sampling from a monitor in Colorado -- part of a national network of stations on the lookout for radioactivity -- detected miniscule amounts of iodine-131, a radioactive form of iodine, the state's public health and environmental department said Wednesday in a press release. On the same day in Portland, Oregon, tiny quantities of iodine-131 were also detected by an Environmental Protection Agency air monitor, Oregon public health officials said. 


Washington and California previously reported low levels of radioactive isotopes that likely came from Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, which has been releasing radioactive particles into the air since its cooling and other systems were damaged by a 9.0-magnitude earthquake and massive tsunami on March 11. This is from Mercury News..." RENO, Nev.—Minuscule amounts of radiation from Japan's damaged nuclear plant have reached Las Vegas, but scientists say it poses no health risk.

Ted Hartwell of the Desert Research Institute's Community Environmental Monitoring Program says extremely small amounts of the radioactive isotopes iodine-131 and zenon-133 had reached a Las Vegas monitoring station this week." Read the full story here... 

Many people are unaware of why Radiation showing up elsewhere is important but as this article shows, the result could be foods and agriculture that become contaminated and poisonous to Humans, it also brings an unwanted financial impact... here

There is a really horrible impact that is yet unrealized by the public, to the Ocean and the wildlife living within, unfortunately we will definitely hear about this and the impact it has on the food chain quite soon I think. This from MSNBC... "TEPCO said radiation had been found in the waters of the Pacific nearby, perhaps not surprising given crews have been dousing the reactors with seawater ever since the accident. Radioactive iodine in the sea samples was 126.7 times the allowed limit, while cesium was 24.8 times over, Kyodo news agency said. That still posed no immediate danger, TEPCO said." full story here. 

Another concern I have is the fact that the contamination will spread as the medium is after all water, and unlike a lake, it is a moving environment, through which the radiated particles will be carried to the many corners of the Earth, having a detrimental impact on all Ocean inhabitants and eventually our food chain.

Unfortunately this is still the beginning of the Catastrophe and there will be a lot more bad news...if there is ever any good news to come from this.  This is a map of the Radiation in Japan... here...and this will change and get worse as we go along.

911 Was Child's Play??

Traces of Radiation too small to kill an Ant was detected yesterday, Thursday March 17th, at a California Monitoring station. It is said to have come from the damaged Nuclear Reactors in Japan. While the low level Radiation itself is of little concern, I can't help but take a more cautious view of the facts. It took less than five days for the Radioactive material to be carried on the winds, from its source to the shores of the West Coast.


The worst Nuclear accident in history thus far is of course Chernobyl. The interesting thing in that incident, worth observation is the fact that there was a large enough explosion to send microscopic Radioactive material so high into the upper atmosphere that it was able to be spread over a wide area by the fierce winds... and kill between 4000 and up to an estimated one million people. I mention this because even without reaching the upper atmosphere the Japanese Reactor material was still able to reach the American West Coast in a minimum amount of days... which makes me wonder...


What if  Osama Bin Laden or his Henchmen decided to fill with Radioactive material and charter... an Airplane from any Foreign Country...only to Detonate it off the Coast of California...at the correct Altitude to be spread most effectively by those vibrant winds that blow from the West Coast all the way across America  to the East Coast? Spreading the deadly particles all across America. That would make 911 look like Child's play.


September 11 was revealed by the 911 Commission to actually be Plan B... Plan A was to fly an Airplane into the Indian Point Nuclear Facility in Upstate New York. It was revealed that the only reason the plan was abandoned is because the Terrorists thought the American Government at the time was intelligent enough to have Surface to Air missiles installed around the facility to protect it...talk about overkill...or over estimating the dedication a Government would have for its people...So, they went with Plan B and down came the Towers.


An exploding Airplane full of Radioactive Material...over California... is a really destructive medium that could actually affect and kill Millions of people from one corner of America clear across to another...think about it...and then kiss your kids...and if you live on the West Coast...don't drink the Tap Water... don't let your kids drink it...and don't let the radioactive rain wet you...

Republicans, Guns, Fear Mongering, Gun Target Rhetoric, The Gullible. Now Put Them All Together.

One Crazed Gunman...many shot, many wounded...many Dead...
Sarah Palin's Camp is Frantically Back-peddling...The Huff reports... Shortly after news broke that Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) had been shot at a congressional event in her district, observers began noting that she had, during the campaign,literally been Sarah Palin's target...to which they reply for those who are really gullible...
"We never ever, ever intended it to be gun sights," she said in an interview with talk radio host Tammy Bruce Saturday. "It was simply crosshairs like you'd see on maps." Bruce suggested that they could, in fact, be seen as "surveyor's symbols." Mansour added that "it never occurred to us that anybody would consider it violent" and called any attempts to politicize the Arizona tragedy "repulsive."


Yeah right..."Surveyor's Symbols"....What the Fuck, they are no "Surveyors"....
They say..." It never occurred to us"...who is stupid enough to believe that? That is the only intelligent reason for using that Tactic...
Who can forget Sarah's famous "Commonsense Conservatives & lovers of America: 'Don't Retreat, Instead - RELOAD!' ??


Others who are more cautious in their opinions than I, Howard Fineman in this instance writes...Now comes Tucson. The deaths there are not about politics, ideology or party. From what we know, Jared Loughman's acts were those of a madman divorced from reality, let alone from public debate.


Many who have since commented have come under attacks including Sheriff Clarence Dupnik who said this..."When you look at unbalanced people, how they respond to the vitriol that comes out of certain mouths about tearing down the government," said Dupnik at a press conference Saturday. "The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous. And unfortunately, Arizona I think has become sort of the capital. We have become the mecca for prejudice and bigotry."


These "attacks" and criticisms come from the usual suspects... one even calling for his resignation. Apparently it's business as usual for this group of Haters...but then, we have not seen them do much in the past, to dispel any suspicions of fear-mongering by them...in fact quite the contrary.


I do not expect many surprises from here on out...but time will tell.
My sincerest sympathies to the victims and their families, I am truly sorry that this has happened, but please take Heart, this Universe has many Good things in store for us in this life...and the next...so be strong and you will endure. We did not come to this World with anything...neither will we leave with anything...anything Material that is...Read my Book, you will understand.
