Endless is too short...
I wonder if...
The river is longer but
The pain feels longer still
Than the sea is wide
The river's reach is wider still
The river brought us along
Out of our raging storms
It healed our sorrows
And washed our tears away
on the days both dark and bright
When we are lost the flow keeps us...
Course corrected
we forget sometimes
time is different for some
I saw an endless sky
Reflected in the flowing waters
Of our sons and daughters
This endless sky I see today
This day I hope and pray
Takes long enough
To go away
The river teaches
Every road leads to the ocean
We are the campfires by the river...
Even through the dark we shine our light
The river keeps the flow
So should we....
If age is the ocean
Grab things that will not drown you
Be kind
Be Calm
