Who would have guessed that Dinesh D'souza, the man who pretended that he was the do all and end all expert on moral and family values, would be done in and exposed as a fraud and miscreant by none other than ...himself? I would, because he is a Republican and they are always the ones who say one thing and do another.
Dinesh D'souza shot to fame in 2012 after the release of a well timed B rated spit flick documentary titled 2016: Obama's America. The film was quickly featured and billed on all the rightwing radio and TV shows as a breakthrough journalistic marvel...until you watched it, that is. It is nothing but a dud, made to attack President Obama and his family, both here and abroad.
We have seen all too often that Republicans are homophobic when they are really gay [Larry Craig, Mark Foley, Ted Haggard,] they are the picture of morality even though they are the first to cheat on their wives [Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh, Ronald Reagan, Rudy Giuliani, John McCain,] they talk a good game about being religious but they lie more than a garbage truck has flies[Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Allen West...oh this list is long!]
So it was no surprise when the news broke that D'souza was caught sharing some hotel space with a woman whom he was later forced to admit was indeed his fiancee...even though he is still married. I am sure that his wife got a surprise when she heard it on the news...D'souza has since resigned from his post as President at The Kings College.
The Daily Beast writes...'After a marathon meeting to decide his fate, the board of trustees of The King’s College, a small evangelical school based in Manhattan, announced Thursday that conservative author Dinesh D’Souza had resigned as president....
