Joe Biden Finally Speaks His Mind On Romney's "Dishonest" Ad.

Until now, VP Joe Biden has kept his powder dry when it came to commenting on the Chrysler and GM ad  when Mitt Romney said the car companies were shipping their jobs to China Well, you know Joe... he is a beacon of light in these matters. When it comes to misleading the American people, he has time and time again put his foot down, on the side of the citizenry.

Today was no different, in keeping with the trend of what a real Vice President [remember Dick Cheney?] should do in defense of the American people. Joe blasted Mitt Romney as being 'Flagrantly Dishonest' for continuing to use the highly debunked ad. The ad has been debunked more times than the cock crows and Mitt Romney and his camp has chosen to stick to their game plan that if you repeat something often enough it will stick.

HuffPost... "Vice President Joe Biden tore into Mitt Romney on Wednesday for running ads with a widely debunked claim about Chrysler and General Motors shipping American jobs to China, saying it calls into question the character of the Republican presidential nominee.
During a campaign event in Sarasota, Fla., Biden called the latest ad one of the "most scurrilous" and "most flagrantly dishonest ads I can remember in my political career...What a cynical, cynical thing to do... Presidential elections are overwhelmingly about character," said Biden. "My guy, your guy, has character ... [He] does not engage in deception. He means what he says."
Spokesmen for the car companies have said... "A GM spokesman responded Tuesday with an unusually sharp rebuke, saying Romney has "clearly entered some parallel universe" and that it reflects "campaign politics at its cynical worst." Similarly, a Chrysler spokesman said there was "no validity" to the ad. Instead, the spokesman said, the company is looking to open new factories in China to meet increasing demand there, a move that would not involve outsourcing American jobs."
As if under the spell of  'forked tongue'... Paul Ryan quickly made his own comment ... HuffPost writes, 'Shortly after Biden's remarks, Romney's vice presidential running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), responded by insisting the campaign's ads are accurate"American taxpayers are on track to lose $25 billion as a result of President Obama’s handling of the auto bailout, and GM and Chrysler are expanding their production overseas..."
For a Presidential candidate and his team to be described as 'scurrilous, cynical and deceptive' as the Romney campaign has been says a lot...it says all that voters need to focus on for the coming election and the honesty of Mitt Romney.
