Don't Tread On My Nonreligious Liberties Please.

So apparently the majority of the citizens in the US are religious, comprising of many different faiths. Most of them are Christians, who unknowingly are treading on my rights and liberties by subjecting me and others to their religious biases, public religious practices and religiously based laws.

Christians are up in arms with the recent decisions of the SCOTUS and are hell bent on fighting some of these decisions even though some earlier decisions were alright by them... even the one in 2000, when SCOTUS gave Bush the win to beat Gore for the Presidency. I also remember the decisions of Citizens United v FEC and Hobby Lobby both of which were just great for conservatives whether they were Christians or not, but I think most conservatives are Christians as well.

Of particular concern to Christians right now is the decision by SCOTUS, to make same sex marriage legal in all 50 states of the US. Many conservatives are vehement in their opposition based on their religious understanding.

The field of 2016 Republican Presidential hopefuls are voicing their opinions as well. Mike Huckabee said 'As president, I will never bow down to the false gods of judicial supremacy.

Ted Cruz had his own ideas to solve the issue..."This week in response to both of these decisions, I have called for another constitutional amendment — this one that would make members of the Supreme Court subject to periodic judicial retention elections," the other candidates were equally colorful in their opinions.

Many laws are made with the minority interest at heart, as the majority are usually the ones putting unbridled blame or stress on said minority. In this instance I believe the nonreligious in America are in the minority and thus deserve the benefit of having their liberties regarded with equal or more urgency.

Our nonreligious liberties and freedoms are being infringed upon with each religiously biased law passed, as it makes us adhere to religiously dictated dogmas or opinions.

Contrary to popular belief. this United States is not a 'Christian' nation, nor was it ever so.

The nonreligious citizens are bombarded by the delirium of religion in numerous ways. When the majority religious population strive to get their ways or their laws imposed on a whole state or the country, they are violating the wishes and freedoms of the minority nonreligious population.

The religious right's attempts to have prayers said in schools, their attempts to define marriage between only a man and a woman, their attempts to ban abortions, their attempts to replace the teaching of science with the teaching of Creationism, their attempts to make contraception illegal or to have religious restrictions placed on who can and can't have contraceptives through certain workplaces, their attempts to have businesses discriminate against patrons... are all wrong and against my rights.

There are many more restrictions based on their religious opinions which are suppressing the wishes of nonreligious people like myself.

When they choose to not bake cakes or take photographs for Gay couples, or dispense prescriptions or issue marriage licences because of religious beliefs... they violate our rights and nonreligious liberties.

If they want to deny us of their services, then simply change the business names to... The religious bake shop... The Jesus Photo store...God's Pharmacy and Marry Before God services.... Then they will not be violating our rights by claiming their right to religious freedom. Until then, they are on the wrong side of the constitution and they tread on us.

I say if they can have religious liberties that they fight for, then it is imperative that my and other nonreligious persons liberties be held in equal regard and be upheld as  a right and individual freedom as promised in the Constitution.

God Let Them Down...

The question that has always been at the forefront is ...Is there a God? The religious will hasten to reply, yes there is. When asked to produce or reference something that could prove God exists, the religious will tell a story from the BibleQur'anBhagavad GitaTorah or some other religious text. Some will tell a story of something personal that has happened to them or something they were witness to that shows the existence of God is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.
There are yet more religious followers who will show the wondrous sights to behold around the world or the children they have been "Blessed" to have. They will recall seeing their newborns for the first time, and being convinced at that moment that God exists. Some will tell that God saved them when they were drowning, when their house was on fire, they will say they were carried on his shoulders when he left footprints in the sand. He saved them when they twisted their ankle and was falling down, while they were holding their Family's  precious and priceless crystal heirloom handed down for generations...by giving them the swift, superhuman reflexes to grab onto a chair or the staircase. There are many stories.
Did God exist on September 18th, 2010?  Why that day you ask? That is the day when a Church Bus from the Bronx in New York, had an accident on the New York Thruway...six people died and eight were injured...so far...Church people...Religious people. The dead included The bishop Titus White; his wife, minister Zelda White; and pastor Titus McGhie, among others. Now why would God do so many other wonderful things around the world, every second, and surely at that same moment, and not save the lives of these innocent, loving  people, who Feared him more than most...and maybe those who are still hoping to survive and are fighting the injuries they sustained in the accident. Can I pray to God to help them get better? Surely I can. Were these people Witches and Wizards who God disliked and that is why they were not saved? I think not. Maybe they did not pray to the correct version of him, maybe they should have been Catholic Christians or Anglican Christians...maybe...but I think not.
There were bombings in Iraq on September 19th 2010 as well...37 people died...so far. Why did the Muslim version of God not save these people? Were they bad people who fell out of favor with the Muslim God? I think not. The mere fact that these things happen would be quickly explained by the "Faithful" as God working in "Mysterious ways". I think not...that's foolish. No matter what the reasons are ,put forth that these people deserved to die, I can honestly say...bullshit. No God planned these deaths. No God prevented these deaths. I hasten to remind you, there were "miracles" happening around the world while these people were dying...or so the recipients of those "miracles" would attest. The fact that these people died proves beyond any doubt that God does not exist...certainly not for them.
When 800,000 innocent people of the Tutsi tribe were being hacked to pieces during 100 days of carnage and death, by the Hutu tribe in Rwanda in 1994, and their flesh later being eaten by the animals there...God did not smile to himself and say...This is good...because he was not there...he was not anywhere. The blind faith that the followers of religion are encouraged to have is just that...blind. Faith in a God is not a good idea, there is a joke, that says you do not know hell until you know religion. It really is all just religious mind control, meant to keep you fearful of all the imaginative ideas ancient man invented thousands of years ago...for the peasants and slaves. If religious people take a good look at themselves, and see the contortions and weird rituals they are purveyors of, they would be embarrassed. It is being reported today, Sept 19th 2010, that there are multiple children missing in California, they are suspected victims of a religious "End of Days" cult...we hope they will escape unharmed...maybe God can show up and save them...I know many are praying for that very thing.I remind you the "Millerites" had the same delirious "end of days idea" in the 1800's, when the world did not end, they spawned a few different Christian Denominations including the Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses.
I for one do not mind delirious people swallowing the religious ideas, but when the ideas influence different portions of the populace...like the Hutu machete gangs, or the folks in the Inquisition, the folks in the Crusades, The folks during the era of Christianization and when they influence our very children, to do stupid things in the name of some Fantasy God, it strikes too close to home to remain silent. George Bush spoke to God, and his decisions were based on his religious misconceptions, he and his friends made Billions... Jim Jones spoke to God, he killed everyone...David Koresh spoke to God, and the sex was good...Moses and Abraham spoke to God, I think they got land...God told Reverend Jones to burn Korans on  9/11/2010, he got publicity...They all got something... This is my proof that God is just a Fantasy, and a business partner of sorts.
After the 19oo's, when we finally came out of the "Dark age of Ignorance" and started to invent things and understand Science and the Universe, many continued to deny that God was a Fantasy...they refused to explore the wealth of knowledge that became available to them around the world, that could disprove their acceptance of this religious mind control. They still do today...and play with snakes, perform rituals to their Gods, speak in "Godly languages...or Tongues" and generally spread the decay of intelligent minds.
It is time to stop...You can be a God to your own families...if you be good people and that is all you need to do...be good to each other, just for goodness' sake, and not a Fear of Gods.  God let those people die on Sept 18th 2010 because God is a Fantasy, God let them down because God does not exist...but you do, so recognize the difference and live... don't subject yourself and your children to foolish religious ideas, instead... learn, research, there is a bright future ahead for the children, but it starts with us...don't be fooled by the religiously delirious amongst us.
There will be Prayer services today... September 19th 2010, for those who died...they will pray to God...the same God who let their loved ones die needlessly. They will pray for all sorts of things, even praying that the deceased left wills with lots of cash...no I'm not being cynical, my Grandmother's priest closed her Bank account and withdrew over $100,000 from her account, less than a week after she died, so I know the depth of what I speak. Religious people will fool you, for many different reasons.
Jesus, our brother, not our God, who knew the folks were too stupid to understand the truth said it like this in Luke, Chapter 17, verses 20 - 21... "20Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, 21nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you." ...meaning it's all in your head...in your minds...it's just an idea, not a reality. Don't be fooled. Jesus did not start a religion, the corrupt Church did, after they murdered him and realized how profitable and powerful it could be for them. Learn, do the research, seek...for the benefit, and the future of your Children.

Is Religious Tolerance Destroying The Earth?

The title is a question that has been asked for generations and is being asked in many circles now. Another one is "Are Religions profitable enough to us or should they be removed?"  I am aware that through the ages Religion has been the biggest supporter of the poorest and neediest amongst us, but that has to be weighed against the high incidence of death that it brings with it now and has brought with it in the past.
Religion has always been like a good drug that has good effects and bad affects. On the one hand it cures the ills of Society while on the other hand it causes more deaths on a daily basis than poverty, in fact Religion is gravely responsible for much of the poverty it helps to alleviate around the world. In many countries the restrictions put on the communities by religion are the said rules that prevent certain conditions that are beneficial to the community.

One major example is the restriction of women to become educated, which in turn keeps the whole community down. I am sure you have all heard the saying ...If you educate a man you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman you educate a family (community or nation) You also have had in the History of the Earth, many millions of deaths by Religious wars, The Inquisition, The Crusades, The era of Christianization, which spanned hundreds of years and by itself took millions of lives. The Holocaust was as much a Religious duty of Hitler in his eyes, as it was an act or attempt of Genocide. The Iraqi war is view by some to be some kind of twisted continuation of the Crusades by modern Evangelists because we had no reason to attack Iraq before first attacking North Korea and other Regimes who are hostile to us.

One has to decide if the good that Religion has done for the Earth as a whole outweighs the destruction it has done. Religion in my opinion is responsible for the Retardation of the Human race in its quest and destiny of becoming a Space-bound species. We do not have to look further than the Middle East region to see the destruction Religion encourages between one Religious group and the next. Hamas bombs Israel today and Israel retaliates tomorrow. The Kurds, The Shiites, The Sunnis are sometimes warring against each other, The Hindus and the Pakistanis wars and the list goes on... Religion can be seen as the most destructive force on Earth, barring Greed which is inexplicably linked and interwoven into the very fabric itself, of Religion.

We do not even have to go that far to see one Religious group's Bigotry against another, we need only take a look in our own back yard, at the newest religious controversy brewing in New York with the proposed plan to build a Muslim institution in the form of a 13 story building that houses a Museum and many other things...including a place of prayer for Muslims, and other Religions.

I heard an interesting discussion on a radio program by Patt Morrison, where her guests were Firstly, The Acclaimed Author Sam Harris, co-founder & CEO of Project Reason; author of the books,The End of Faith and Letter to a Christian Nation;  his upcoming book out in October, is The Moral, and Secondly her guest the Acclaimed editor at the Daily Beast and internationally acclaimed writer and scholar of religions; his latest book is Beyond Fundamentalism: Confronting Religious Extremism In the Age of Globalization. There was a female caller to that program who brought to light the opinion that we could entertain the idea of banning the building of All Religious houses...for various reasons. Her charge was that the Methodist Church was refused a permit to build around the  same area.

I would like to also ask the question of how far away from Ground Zero should Religious Buildings be constructed. Now bear in mind there is a Church within 2 blocks and a Mosque within 4 blocks of Ground Zero, so you have to use these existing buildings as the guidelines for your decision. Perhaps a ban should be placed from building Religious houses of worship any where within a 50 block radius from Ground Zero for ALL religious houses, or maybe for that matter on the entire Island of Manhattan. This is of course after the removal of all existing Religious houses of worship within the boundaries of Manhattan.

It is my humble opinion that 9/11 was a product of Global Religious tensions and it was only a matter of time before it occurred in the location and fashion that it was done. As Technology advances so too we will see this reflected in future attacks upon us. The Earth is being overrun by Religion and the Fanaticism it ultimately produces, this has a profound affect on the way our society thinks and acts toward each other, War being the approved and preferred method of engagement, rather than an engagement of minds and ideas.

Because of these Wars, we are truly paying for the privilege of having  Religion... with our Blood...literally, with dead and wounded people by the Millions. I think animal sacrifices was a better idea, instead of sacrificing  innocent people... who are victims, termed  "collateral damage" and soldiers in Religious wars. You see the craziness of Religion when you realize that Judaism, Islam and Christianity all come from the same source, and they share certain traits found in Hinduism as well.  Obviously there will be many in agreement and many who disagree with my Building  ban on Religion, but we should respect  each other's right to have an opinion. I invite your thoughts to this dialog...

STOP CIRCUMCISION NOW!!

A 35-year-old mother was arrested for allegedly circumcising her 10-month-old daughter, police said. The LaGrange woman was being held in the Troup County jail with out bond, Sgt. Chad Mann told the AJC. She faces female genital mutilation and child cruelty charges, Mann said.
“A relative changing the baby noticed that she appeared to be circumcised,” Mann said.
The AJC is not publishing the mother’s name to avoid identifying the infant.
The baby was taken to Children’s Health care of Atlanta, where a doctor determined she had under gone some form of surgical removal of the clitoris, Mann said. The baby’s father was previously granted temporary custody, and he alerted authorities about the child’s injury, police said.

“She’s in perfect health, other than that,” Mann said.

The baby is in her father’s custody, police said. Authorities are not releasing details about a possible motive for the mutilation.

“Some of the areas of the investigation are sensitive,” Mann said.

The baby’s mother was arrested Wednesday after noon. Her first court appearance is scheduled for Friday morning.

DFACS officials told Columbus, Ga., newschannel WTVM9 that the woman also has three other children, but declined to say to release the location of them.

An estimated 100 to 140 million girls and women worldwide have been victims of female genital mutilation, according to the World Health Organization. Most of the procedures have occurred in Africa. According to the WHO The procedure has no health benefits, and can cause severe bleeding and problems urinating.

From Teeluck…I am appalled, ashamed and so freaking angry that the innocent among us are treated in such macabre and inhumane ways that it actually hurts to write this article. This “Satanic” practice of circumcision, practiced on both male and female victims Globally, by the delirious people who believe in Satan and this Satanic practice in some freaky way…is truly disgusting and should be outlawed around the Globe. To these perpetrators, it does not matter the horrendous affects it has on the innocent victims and the awful life the females face as a direct consequence…it is truly a step backward for Mankind…religion shows it’s dark and evil face in this practice. Let us bring awareness to this evil practice so in some way we can begin to push back against it... for the sake of it’s help less victims.

Many thanks to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution

SPIRIT BEFORE RELIGION

The Buddha wasn't a Buddhist

By Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
Tibetan Buddhist teacher
If we want to be free of the pain we inflict on ourselves and each other -- in other words, if we want to be happy -- then we have to learn to think for ourselves. We need to be responsible for ourselves and examine anything that claims to be the truth. That's what the Buddha did long ago to free himself from his own discontent and persistent doubts about what he heard, day-after-day, from his parents, teachers and the palace priests.
Although he was a prince born into a wealthy and powerful family, the young Siddhartha often just wanted to get away from it all. He wanted the space to think independently about who he was and what the spiritual path was about. Such freethinking was important to the Buddha's search for inner truth and his ultimate realization of enlightenment. These days more and more people in the West are following the teachings and example of the Buddha. But what are these teachings about? What is Buddhism? It looks like a religion, but is it?

There are many definitions of religion. Some are so broad they'd include your neighborhood garden club. Others are narrower: your garden club would need a deity, enthusiasm for that deity, and a set of beliefs and practices. We all have some sense of what religion means to us, but when we start talking about it -- trouble!
If you search "world religions," you'll find "Buddhism" on every list. Does that make Buddhism a religion? Does it mean that because I'm a Buddhist, I'm "religious"? I can argue that Buddhism is a science of mind -- a way of exploring how we think, feel and act that leads us to profound truths about who we are. I can also say that Buddhism is a philosophy of life -- a way to live that maximizes our chances for happiness.
What Buddhism is, at this point, is certainly out of the Buddha's hands. His teachings passed into the hands of his followers thousands of years ago. They passed from wandering beggars to monastic institutions, from the illiterate to the learned, from the esoteric East to the outspoken West. In its travels, Buddhism has been many things to many people. But what did the Buddha intend when he taught?
At the start of his own spiritual quest, Prince Siddhartha left his royal home, along with its many luxuries and privileges. He was determined to find answers to life's most perplexing questions. Are we born into the world just to suffer, grow old, and die? What's going on -- what's the meaning of it all? After years of experimenting with different forms of religious practice, he abandoned his austerities and all his concepts about his spiritual journey -- all the beliefs and doctrines that had led him to where he was. At the end of that journey, with only an open and curious mind, he discovered what he was looking for -- the great mind of enlightenment. He woke up from all confusion. He saw beyond all belief systems to the profound reality of the mind itself -- a state of clear awareness and supreme happiness. Along with that knowledge came an understanding of how to lead a meaningful and compassionate life. For the next 45 years, he taught how to work with the mind: how to look at it, how to free it from misunderstandings, and how to realize the greatness of its potential.
Those teachings today still describe a deeply personal inner journey that's spiritual, yes, but not religious. The Buddha wasn't a god -- he wasn't even a Buddhist. You're not required to have more faith in the Buddha than you do in yourself. His power lies in his teachings, which show us how to work with our minds to realize our full capacity for wakefulness and happiness. These teachings can help us satisfy our search for the truth -- our need to know who and what we really are.
Where do we find this truth? Although we can rely to some degree on the wisdom we find in books and on the advice of respected spiritual authorities, that's only the beginning. The journey to genuine truth begins when you discover a true question -- one that comes from the heart -- from your own life and experience. That question will lead to an answer that will lead to another question, and so on. That's how it goes on the spiritual path.
We start by bringing an open, inquisitive, and skeptical mind to whatever we hear, read, or see that presents itself as the truth. We examine it with reason and we put it to the test in meditation and in our lives. As we gain insight into the workings of the mind, we learn how to recognize and deal with our day-to-day experiences of thoughts and emotions. We uncover inaccurate and unhelpful habits of thinking and begin to correct them. Eventually we're able to overcome the confusion that makes it so hard to see the mind's naturally brilliant awareness. In this sense, the Buddha's teachings are a method of investigation, or a science of mind.
Religion, on the other hand, often provides us with answers to life's big questions from the start. We don't have to think about it too much. We learn what to think and believe and our job is to live up to that, not to question it. If we relate to the Buddha's teachings as final answers that don't need to be examined, then we're practicing Buddhism as a religion.
In any case, we still have to live our lives and face up to how we're going to do it. We can't escape having a "philosophy of life," because we're challenged every day to choose one action over another -- kindness or indifference, generosity or selfishness, patience or blame. When our decisions and actions reflect the knowledge we've gained by working with our minds, that's adopting Buddhism as a way of life.
As the teachings of the Buddha reach us and pass into our Western hands, what determines what they will be for us? It's all in how we use them. As long as they help to clear up our confusion and inspire confidence that we can fulfill our potential, then they're doing the job that the Buddha intended.
We can use all the help we can get, because strange as it seems, we hang onto to our confusion. We cling to it because we think it shields us from something. But like wearing sunglasses day and night, we are only avoiding looking at who we truly are. We prefer to wear our "shades," simply because we're not used to the bright light of our minds. The teachings of the Buddha -- no matter how we label them -- show us how to open our eyes to that brilliance.

From Teeluck...
The simple truth is you do not need a God, a religion or dogmas, rules and rituals to understand life and our purpose here,
just look within to find the answers.
Goodness is the start of that journey, after starting to apply goodness in our daily lives, the rest becomes revealed in all its simplicity. There is nothing else you need to do but practice goodness...and you would have saved the world...
I would advise that one reads "The Gospel of thomas" from the dead sea scrolls to find the real jesus and what he really taught.

Luke 17:20-21 (King James Version)
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered
them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Gospel of thomas
77. Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained.
Split a piece of wood; I am there.
Lift up the stone, and you will find me there."

Translation...Jesus, you and I are all part of this Universe in its Spiritual form and its Consciousness. We need neither Churches nor Religion to live or to love. There is no God more than us...there is nothing to fear or worship...just live and love.

It is said...a thousand monks, a thousand religions...the same applies to the 40,000+ denominations of christianity...we don't need any of them...

Religion is the new "Model T"...out dated.

I think you readers have a right to hear and understand what I am saying about the decline of religion's necessity. I wrote some of this as a comment and decided this is too heavy to be hidden in the comments.
Firstly, My partial background for such comments...I am active in two churches in my area, one being a multi million dollar operation of the Catholic Church/Cathedral/Catholic school...they have an immigration office that I frequent, which helps hundreds of distraught people who are in the middle of being deported, their families being ripped apart and so on...also others who desperately need pointed immigration help to get themselves legal status. I see the best, loving people... and Clergy... and everything that religion has to offer...and it is irreplaceable...as a community organization, but still, in my observation... misinformed.
This operation is all done pro bono...so I am not criticizing the Churches value to any community, but in answer to your question, No, modern religion is not as much a misunderstanding as much as it is a misdirection by good people who are themselves misdirected...going back centuries.  Respectfully, I promise you will all be in agreement with me when you read my in-depth analysis of my observations in my book in a couple weeks. The title is Shock and Awe on America, it is being printed for my approval right now by Amazon's printers... and should be available on Amazon in a couple of weeks.
My judging all religion is not misguided as I have purposely made that specific statement/critique, as part of a larger picture/observation.
Indeed everyone who worships some kind of Deity or Godly Figure is ultimately looking for peace and Global love, and that is never a bad thing. I work with Decent, real Priests weekly, and yes they are the most simple, loving people I have the honor to meet, to hug, to work with.
My point is...religion does not cause that love...just the goodness of humans helping humans...as evidenced by me and my role in this solemn story, working along with these Priests in their work with the most needy among us. Religion is an antique idea that simply teaches or helps show people how to channel that Brotherly Love...a channel we can evolve to do away with, while not stopping, but indeed increasing the unselfish love we already share. God is a different subject...a larger issue than the "God" of religion, and I look forward to discussing that.

One hundred years ago the ratio of gangs to worshippers was very small, fifty years ago that ratio showed an increase of gang members, ten years ago it was obvious the gangs were growing faster than the Worshipers...Worldwide...
Religion is losing the fight against the growing infestation of gangs in our societies, and when gang leaders are deported they simply start new gangs in other countries, making it a growing, Global crisis...one that religion has lost it's ability to counter or control. This is proven by the numbers/ratio. How prevalent is Mexican gang activity in our lives today...both in Mexico and also in our local communities?  How about the Bloods and the Crips? How about The Brotherhood and other White Power Gangs...KKK...Militia...Arian Nation Gangs...these are just the famous or known ones, there are thousands here in America and even more Globally, the increase of which is the last shove given to religion, onto the shelf of past endeavors to contain and control the population...next to the Ford Model T, which was replaced by better cars a long time ago. We did not stop using cars, we just improved them...same with our understanding of God, Heaven, Spirit, Soul, The Universe...and Us. We just need to improve understanding of the Universe and the Spirit.
We need to "Graduate" to a new way of relating to the Force we call "Heavenly"...as there are millions of families who have tasted the bitter pill of the inability of religion to save them and their loved ones from the ravages that gangs bring.

The replacement of opposing religions with a higher spiritual approach will remove the necessity for the religious fighting that punctuates our daily lives and the Global religious wars that taint our Fantastic future history as a developing Space Bound Species.  Jerusalem may indeed become one people, one group, part of Humankind, and not just remain Muslims, Christians and Jews.

Pedophile Priests pretending pure piety....priviledged prim proper pricks

Quotes from Slate.com

The Great Catholic Cover-Up

The pope's entire career has the stench of evil about it.

By Christopher Hitchens

Posted Monday, March 15, 2010, at 10:20 AM ET

Pope Benedict XVI On March 10, the chief exorcist of the Vatican, the Rev. Gabriele Amorth (who has held this demanding post for 25 years), was quoted as saying that "the Devil is at work inside the Vatican," and that "when one speaks of 'the smoke of Satan' in the holy rooms, it is all true—including these latest stories of violence and pedophilia." This can perhaps be taken as confirmation that something horrible has indeed been going on in the holy precincts, though most inquiries show it to have a perfectly good material explanation.

Concerning the most recent revelations about the steady complicity of the Vatican in the ongoing—indeed endless—scandal of child rape, a few days later a spokesman for the Holy See made a concession in the guise of a denial. It was clear, said the Rev. Federico Lombardi, that an attempt was being made "to find elements to involve the Holy Father personally in issues of abuse." He stupidly went on to say that "those efforts have failed."
He was wrong twice. In the first place, nobody has had to strive to find such evidence: It has surfaced, as it was bound to do. In the second place, this extension of the awful scandal to the topmost level of the Roman Catholic Church is a process that has only just begun. Yet it became in a sense inevitable when the College of Cardinals elected, as the vicar of Christ on Earth, the man chiefly responsible for the original cover-up. (One of the sanctified voters in that "election" was Cardinal Bernard Law of Boston, a man who had already found the jurisdiction of Massachusetts a bit too warm for his liking.)

We have all seen the stories of Pedophile Priests and the damage they have caused and continue to cause. This is an issue that goes back as far as the Early Churches and their rules and attempts to curb the appetites of they clergy and indeed their congregations. There is no surprise that we see time and time again the scandals unfold where the church is the center of rape, sodomy and worse, as they continue to play their shell games of "Find the Pedophile Priest." It is a game that has gone on for their enjoyment since the inception of the Christian Church as early laws were made to stem it's popularity. I honestly think that any God would be angry at this and any Church that fears their Gods  would not encourage it by harboring these sick people. This by itself leads me to believe that the Church is saying to us that they know... by their actions...that there are no Gods to fear and religion is just a hoax.

Truth

Hi folks, for the start of 2010, I would like to ask you all to seek a higher wisdom than most of you have recieved in the past from your various religions. There are various religions and then there is the truth, they are both different and separate of each other. The truth never changes and it applies to the whole Universe, whereas religions only apply to your little neck of the woods. The truth says that Jesus and Mohammed were both enlightened beings who tried to teach the truth to the people of Earth. After their deaths, writers made the scriptures and misunderstood what the teachings were, so they mistakingly made religion what it is today. There is no religion in the Universe, and the force that we call God, here on Earth, does not exist as we think it does in the Universe. The truth is much larger than religion and much greater in it's application to life here on Earth and elsewhere in the Universe, in varying degrees of spiritual density and dimensions. It would be wise for everyone to understand that religion can be a stepping stone to understanding the truth, which is the door that you have been brought to by religion. Jesus said one should open the door, as there is much to learn and time goes by swiftly in the life of humans. We do not only live and exist on this Earth, but we are inhabitants of this Universe, so you must seek for the truth that can be applied to the whole of the Universe, this is obviously a truth that is greater than any Earthly religion can fathom or address.
