Pope Pretends Piousness Ploy, Peddles Pro Pedophilic Priests Position, Preventing Prosecutions...Positively Providing Proof, Pontiff Pitifully Pathetic, Petty Person...Pity

Partial Post per http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/mar/28/pope-benedict-sexual-abuse-scandal

Pope Benedict, facing the worst crisis of his papacy as a sexual abuse scandal sweeps the Catholic church, declared today he would not be "intimidated" by "petty gossip", angering activists who say he has done too little to stamp out paedophilia.
Addressing crowds in St Peter's square during a Palm Sunday service, the pope did not directly mention the scandal spreading though Europe and engulfing the Vatican, but alluded to it during his sermon. Faith in God, he said, led "towards the courage of not allowing oneself to be intimidated by the petty gossip of dominant opinion".
As Benedict spoke, the president of Switzerland, Doris Leuthard, called for a central register of paedophile priests to keep them away from children. In Austria, the archbishop of Vienna announced the creation of a commission funded by the church, but without church representatives, to look into Austrian abuse claims.
Benedict came under attack after it was revealed that he had been involved in dealing with two cases of abuse. In the first a German priest in therapy for paedophilia returned to work with children while the pope was archbishop of Munich. In the second, in the late 1990s when Benedict was a senior Vatican figure, his deputy stopped a church trial against a Wisconsin priest accused of abusing deaf boys.
Church officials say Benedict was unaware the German priest had returned to work and the Wisconsin case was reported to the Vatican 20 years after the fact.
The Vatican daily, L'Osservatore Romano, has accused the media of a "clear and ignoble intent of trying to strike Benedict and his closest collaborators".
But activists said they were angered by Benedict's talk of intimidation today. "I hope this doesn't fit into a pattern where the media is to be blamed," said Sean O'Conaill of Voice of the Faithful, a group, which has campaigned for abuse victims. "The real courage needed here is to face issues the media has revealed."
These scumbags are still trying to deny the facts, they are continuing to protect these Pedophile worms and continue to play their shell game of "Find The Pedophile Priests"...when will they stop? This is in plain sight for all to see...they do not fear the same God they want us to fear...this is because they know the truth, that there is no God to fear and they have been misleading us and milking us for thousands of years. Religious delusion is the cover that they use to keep their congregations in line, but it is time to hold them accountable by boycotting the Churches and their activities until they take action to protect the most vulnerable among us...their victims...our children.

  2. JR, they have done much, that's for sure...and their minions, the Repuglickers' party is further proof of their kind of delirious glory.

  3. I wish I had some answers Teeluck. Even if Benedict resigned his replacement would be of the same ilk. And so would the next and the next after that.

It sucks that my church will only undergo positive change which could keep members from leaving and hopefull lead to it's growth because of the despicable acts of so many priests and those that covered for them.

It's still at least two generations away. It may be too late. And the more crimes that are revealed make it more likely the Catholic Church will end up a footnote in history.

  4. Truth, They are already a footnote and they just don't know it yet...wait 'til my book comes out next month...I fix 'em good. The church is like the Ford model T, it has outlived it's purpose and usefulness, modern times call for modern ideas...something the Antiquated Church is not. Their biggest crime is not even Pedophilia...it is War.

  5. I posted about the priest who molested 200 deaf boys but I deleted it. It didn't get much response and made me feel like I was offending people. I am NO supporter of organized religion and a Hater of the Catholic religion. It's Satan in sheep's clothing, and as I said in my post that "Church" should crumble!! The whole thing stems from the celibacy oath. God did not make man to be celibate. Men of God perpetrating sins so horrific?? Sick hypocrite bastards, burn in HELL!!

  6. Pope Benny wants the media and all you bloggers to stop forcing him to deny things that are true.

    A 20 word alliteration. Outstanding.

  7. Teeluck, IMHO, the main thing wrong with the Catholic Church is the Papacy. If the Catholics could fix that, it would be great. If the Pope was reduced to being just a ceremonial old fart that led parades around the Vatican during Easter instead of interfering with secular politics in such a venal and retroactive manner, I wouldn't feel so anti-Catholic.

  8. Hell, they didn't clear Galileo till a few years ago, don't expect the Vatican to come clean on this stuff before 2500 AD.

And I'm not trying to be funny.

  9. Imagine managers at GE doing this to some children within a day care center and then being caught. And further imagine those managers then being transferred to another GE office while the higher ups sweep the wrong doing under the carpet. Imagine the outcry when the story finally is revealed and the immediate firings and lawsuits that ensue, not only for the managers but for the higher ups.

How is what is going on in the Catholic church any different?

    Religion.

  13. The Catholics have been mired in tradition for centuries, and part of that tradition includes isolating and insulating the clergy from secular exposure, and especially secular justice. Until the church elects a progressive leader things will remain the same. Even today, as I write this, the church is stonewalling.

  14. What strikes my funny bone is that this sorry POS is in his position until he dies. They could be stuck with him for another 20 years. It wouldn't hurt me to see the church broken into a thousand pieces over this.

  15. One part corruption, two parts denial. It's pretty much what you always get when so ruthlessly consolidate power like this. Who knows, maybe we need yet another reformation/enlightenment. It sure as hell couldn't hurt.

  16. Tom Harper, yea nothing to bother themselves with...kids? They're just Pests...

Sue, we just have to keep up the fight on the front lines...yes, the Church is crumbling and they can't stop themselves from being the instrument of that destruction...how fitting.

  17. Holte Ender, the truth is in our twisted eyes only...their sights see no wrong...
20 words, cool eh? Thank you for the compliment.

Vigilante, the sad and funny thing is that he really is just an old fart...who is scamming the whole world with this religious bullshit.

  18. Beach Bum, it's only us and the media who is making false rumors...there is really nothing wrong happening...and the kids are liars.

The J Mopper, welcome, have a look around and enjoy.
If the GE managers were Christians...they could do no wrong...they have been forgiven in "Heaven" anyway...

amadmike1, as far as they are concerned they are above reproach...it looks like they do not fear the bad publicity...and the truth.

  20. Bee, don't worry, they murdered that other Pope when he was only in office for a month...so I'm sure some one of his peers will do the same here soon...to save face for the Church. Soon.

Will, Jesus needs to come back and die all over again to solve this one...isn't he supposed to come back soon anyway? The Antichrist Obama is already here waiting...lol

  21. I was raised Catholic, but no longer am a believer.

There are many good, loving, righteous Catholics who believe in helping the sick, the poor, the helpless. Unfortunately, none of them live in the Vatican or are in positions of power in the Catholic Church.

The organization is hopelessly corrupt and blind to their own corruption. Their purpose is to protect the organization and throw helpless children under their ecclisiastical bus.

The Pope and Bishops are not Christlike in any way. They are criminals and the epitome of corruption.

The true Catholics need to separate from the faux Catholics who have nothing to do with their prophet, Jesus.

  22. Shaw, religion has outlived it's usefulness, we are now in an age, where there is no fictitious God controlling anything...Earth's humans are like a tribe deep in the Amazon rainforest...who still pray to unseen things, bathe in blood, make sacrifices and believe in superstition. When we discover these tribes we are quick to say they are primitive...yet we don't see that we do the same foolishness.

  23. So, it was all a big misunderstanding? I don't think so.

Now, about that Alliteration Gone Wild, :)

That's your belief, fair enough, and there's reason to hold that belief.

However, I think you make the mistake of judging all religion by the worst of what some religions harbor, based on some well-deserved bad publicity.

Yet, throughout the country, and indeed around the world, millions of decent people peacefully and quietly practice their various faiths without pushing their beliefs on others or harming anyone. And even within the very troubled Catholic Church, there are many thoroughly decent priests who dedicate their lives to their faith and faithful. There are millions of Catholic parents who raise their children to be more decent, well-behaved and humane than they otherwise might be by raising them in their faith. I know because even though I'm not Catholic, I've been seeing it all my life.

Religion's usefulness is decided in the hearts and minds of people who adhere to various religions. If and when people turn away from believing in a higher power and practicing their faiths, your judgment will be true. Clearly, it's not true now.

  25. SW, I think you and many others have a right to hear and understand what I am saying.
Firstly, I am active in two churches in my area, one being a multi million operation of the Catholic Church...they have an immigration office which helps hundreds of distraught people who are in the middle of being deported, their families being ripped apart and so on. I see the best people, clergy and everything religion has to offer...and it is irreplaceable...but still, misinformed.
This operation is all done pro bono...so I am not criticizing the Churches value to any community, but in answer to your question, no it is not as much a misunderstanding as much as it is misdirection by good people who are themselves misdirected. Respectfully, I promise you will be in agreement with me when you read my in-depth analysis of my claim in my book in a couple weeks.
My judging all religion is not misguided as I have purposely made that specific statement/critique, as part of a larger picture/observation.
Indeed everyone who worships some kind of Deity or Godly Figure is ultimately looking for peace and Global love, and that is never a bad thing. I work with Decent, real Priests weekly, and yes they are the most simple, loving people I have the honor to meet, to hug, to work with.
My point is...religion does not cause that love...just the goodness of humans helping humans...as evidenced my me and my role in this solemn story. Religion simply teaches or helps show people how to channel that Brotherly Love...a channel we can evolve to do away with, while not stopping the love we already share. God is a different subject...a larger issue than the "God" of religion, and I look forward to discuss that in the future.

  26. "as evidenced BY me and my role... "
One hundred years ago the ratio of gangs to worshippers was very small, fifty years ago that ratio showed an increase of gang members, ten years ago it was obvious the gangs were growing faster than the Worshipers...
Religion is losing the fight against the growing infestation of gangs in our societies, and when gang leaders are deported they simply start new gangs in other countries, making it a growing, Global crisis...one that religion has lost it's ability to counter or control. This is proven by the numbers/ratio.
We need to "Graduate" to a new way of relating to the Force we call "Heavenly"...as there are millions of families who have tasted the bitter pill of the inability of religion to save them and their loved ones from the ravages that gangs bring.
